LIQUOR AND TOBACCO COMPLIANCE CHECKS

• There were 485 locations visited during liquor compliance checks completed in the month of October 2004.
  
• A total of 95 liquor licensed businesses sold liquor to underage operatives.
  
• The percent of liquor noncompliance for October is 19.6%.
  
• The rolling 12-month average of liquor noncompliance (11/03-10/04) is 18.1%.
• 5566 liquor compliance checks were conducted during 1/04 – 10/04 and 959 of them sold to a minor.

• There were 185 locations visited during tobacco compliance checks completed in the month of October 2004.
  
• A total of 10 tobacco licensed businesses sold tobacco to underage operatives.
  
• The percent of tobacco noncompliance for October 2004 is 5.4%.
  
• The rolling 12-month average of tobacco noncompliance (11/03 - 10/04) is 17.7%.
• 2445 tobacco compliance checks were conducted during 1/04 – 10/04 and 243 of them sold to a minor.
