LIQUOR AND TOBACCO COMPLIANCE CHECKS

• There were 345 locations visited during liquor compliance checks completed in the month of November 2004.
  
• A total of 38 liquor licensed businesses sold liquor to underage operatives.
  
• The percent of liquor noncompliance for November is 9.1%.
  
• The rolling 12-month average of liquor noncompliance (12/03-11/04) is 17.7%.
• 5911 liquor compliance checks were conducted during 1/04 – 11/04 and 992 of them sold to a minor.

• There were 233 locations visited during tobacco compliance checks completed in the month of November 2004.
  
• A total of 26 tobacco licensed businesses sold tobacco to underage operatives.
  
• The percent of tobacco noncompliance for November 2004 is 11.7%.
  
• The rolling 12-month average of tobacco noncompliance (12/03 - 11/04) is 17.7%.
• 2668 tobacco compliance checks were conducted during 1/04 – 11/04 and 269 of them sold to a minor.
