checks completed in the month of August 2005.
- A total of 71 liquor licensed businesses sold liquor to
underage operatives.
- The percent of liquor noncompliance for August is 12%.
- The rolling 12-month average of liquor noncompliance (9/04-8/05)
is 18.6%.
- 4563 liquor compliance checks were conducted
during 1/05 - 8/05 and 671 of them sold to a minor.

| Tobacco Compliance Checks |
- There were 304 locations visited during tobacco compliance
checks completed in the month of August 2005.
- A total of 32 tobacco licensed businesses sold tobacco to underage operatives.
- The percent of tobacco noncompliance for August 2005 is 10.5%.
- The rolling 12-month average of tobacco noncompliance (9/04 - 8/05) is
7.2%.
- 1837 tobacco compliance checks were conducted
during 1/05 - 8/05 and 151 of them sold to a minor.
