Washington State Liquor Control Board enforcement officers
and state Gambling Commission special agents cited employees at three
casinos on Sept. 24 for allowing a minor to gamble and serving alcohol
to a minor. The violations occurred at The
Silver Dollar Casino, 7016 220th St SW, Mountlake Terrace; The Crazy
Moose, 22003 66th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace; and Parkers Casino, 17001
Aurora Ave N, Shoreline.
Each of the alcohol sellers were cited for
Furnishing Liquor to Minors and card room employees received
administrative violation notices. Casino owners received warning
notices for the violations.
During the joint operation to test compliance with state liquor and
gambling laws, officers and agents visited seven businesses in
Shoreline and South Snohomish County.
In the three casinos cited, a 16-year-old was allowed to enter the
establishment, sit at a gaming table and get served beer without being
asked for proof of age.
