POULSBO -
Liquor Control Board enforcement agents and a Kitsap
County health department official conducted 13 tobacco compliance
checks in Poulsbo and one in Silverdale on Oct. 28.
During the compliance
checks a 15 or 16 year old enters a restaurant or grocery store and
attempts to buy cigarettes. The following two businesses checked that
day sold tobacco to a minor:

Chevron - 18764 Highway 305, Poulsbo

Tequilas Grill, A Sports Bar - 18932 Front St., Poulsbo
Clerks who sell tobacco to a minor receive a $50 fine for a first time
offense. Licensees receive a penalty based on the following
guidelines:
