Olympia
– The Liquor Control Board issued a 180-day emergency liquor
license suspension Nov. 23 to the licensee of Bailey’s Family
Restaurant in the aftermath of a fatal shooting outside
Bailey’s Motor Inn that occurred on Oct. 26.
Olympia police arrested
the restaurant manager the next day, and he has been charged with the
crime.
The police investigation
also revealed that the manager had a contract to manage the restaurant
that was not disclosed to the state Liquor Control Board.
The commission of a crime
by an employee on the premises of a licensed establishment and failure to
disclose the employee’s true interest in the business are violations of
state liquor laws and cause for suspension and revocation of the license.
Bailey’s Family
Restaurant, 3333 Martin Way,
does business as MNK Business, Inc.
