  • Smitty’s, 102 E. Toppenish Ave., Toppenish
  • Wapato Market Place, 109 W. First St., Wapato

The Board commends the following 21 businesses for passing the Oct. 29 compliance checks:

  • Crossroads Market, 4641 N. Track Road, Wapato

  • El Roadrunner, 502 W. First Ave., Toppenish
  • General Store, 505 First Ave. W., Toppenish

The first time AVN penalty for selling alcohol to a minor is a five-day suspension or a $500 fine, a second offense is a 7-day suspension with no monetary option, a third offense is a 30-day suspension with no monetary option, and a fourth offense is a license cancellation.
