Walla Walla Liquor Store closing during relocation

Walla Walla ― The Walla Walla Liquor will close at 9 p.m. Saturday and remain closed until it reopens at its new location in the Ninth Avenue Building on Thursday, Feb. 24. 

Monday is Presidents’ Day, a state holiday, and the move will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the store re-opening at 11 a.m. on Feb. 24. 

The store’s new address is 611 Ninth Ave. and the new phone number is (509) 526-6286. 

Editor’s Note: In FY2004, the Washington State Liquor Control Board distributed $303,704 in revenue from the sale, licensing and taxation of wine, beer and distilled spirits to the City of Walla Walla. College Place received $83,060; Waitsburg, $12,400; Prescott, $3,200; and Walla Walla County, $66,895.
