(Boston) – At its annual meeting held June 4 through 8,
the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators (NCSLA) presented a Best Practices in
e-Commerce Award to the Washington State Liquor Control Board’s Licensing Division.
Board Member Vera Ing accepted the award from NCSLA, which recognized the Liquor Control Board’s
online price posting system for excellence.
The price posting system, which serves more than 14,000 liquor licensees annually, has been
upgraded to accommodate increased use. An NCSLA Best Practices committee surveyed the Web sites
and online services of all 50 states to determine which states had the most efficient online systems.
