FOUR LIQUOR LICENSEES CAUGHT SELLING TO MINORS January 19, 2000Tacoma- Liquor Control Board agents issued four service to minors violations during a emphasis patrol in University Place and Fircrest on Saturday, January 15. Two 18 year olds were sent into 14 licensed liquor establishments to try and purchase alcohol. Of the 14 locations, the two minors were able to buy alcohol at 4 locations. All but one violator examined the I.D. The following licensees received a violation for serving to minors:
In addition to the four liquor violations the emphasis patrol also issued the following citations:
The Pierce County Traffic Safety Task Force has been in place for two years and consists of police personnel from Fircrest, Fife, Lakewood, Dupont, Pierce County Sheriff, and Liquor Control Board enforcement agents.
