March 9, 2000 SENOR JUNIOR'S BEGINS 45 DAY LIQUOR LICENSE SUSPENSION Mount Vernon- Senor Juniors, a tavern located at 517 South First Street in Mount Vernon; will begin a 45 day liquor license suspension imposed on them by the Liquor Control Board. A report, issued to the Liquor Control Board from Mount Vernon Police, revealed bartenders were involved in drug activity on the premises. Senor Juniors received a violation on December 02, 1999, for breaking the following liquor laws on October 17, 1999:
The 45 day suspension will begin 10AM, March 13, 2000, and
last through Senor Juniors has three previous violations; they are:
The Liquor Control Board, whose enforcement division is charged with overseeing liquor licensed establishments, often work with local police on cases of criminal conduct and other liquor law violations.
