Announcements:

01-01-13  Annual Filing for Wineries New
2012 legislation (SB5259) allows wineries with total taxable sales in Washington State per calendar year of 6,000 gallons or less to file annually. This is effective with the June 2012 reporting period.

  • Monthly filing is still available.
If you expect to exceed 6,000 gallons of total taxable sales per calendar year, you are required to file monthly. Changes to reporting frequency can be made each year beginning with January’s report.

12-03-12 Spirits Distributors and Spirits COA
The Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB) will begin offering online reporting and payment for Distributors, Spirits COA's and Representative COA's who file forms LIQ161 and LIQ163 in time to file your November report. In addition to being fast and easy, online reporting greatly reduces the likelihood of errors.

11-28-12  Spirits Retailers
Please read the WSLCB interim policy on non payment of fees.

Note: Spirits licensees pay fees to the WSLCB. However, spirits taxes are to be paid to the state Department of Revenue.
